Recently deceased (March 25, 2017), Julian Stanczak was one of the foremost exponents of the Optical Art movement. Tha ability to set up strong interactions of color, line, form and space has afforded him the power to establish internal dynamics in this two-dimensional surface that generate visual energy and elegance. 

This original silkscreen print is 26"x39", unframed, signed in pencil, titled and numbered.  The style is abstract art, also referred to as Op art.  The Op Art movement was actually named after Julian Stanczak's first major show, held in New York in 1964.
